Family Movie Nite
First in a series of Family Movie Nights: May 17, 7 PM—-all members and friends are invited to join us for an indoor picnic. Kids can wear pj’s: Bring a blanket or a comfy pillow, your own dinner (Subway, pizza, sandwiches, mac and cheese, etc.) like you were going to the drive-in or on a picnic. We will begin with a Disney Pixar short and then watch “UP”. Some general ideas or thoughts about the movie will be discussed prior to the movie and then our hope is you and your family can continue that discussion at home.
June 7PM We will watch “Stand By Me”, a classic rite of passage. July 8 PM We will move to the parking lot for a simulated drive-in and maybe invite some local churches. (need some movie suggestions) Aug 8 PM We’ll continue the drive-in theme and maybe invite some shoreline churches. Any questions or suggestions, please see Kathy Mallory, Stephanie Kilburn or Sue Clark.
